Ritz Cinema And Truth Bible Church

This is an interesting building in Rensselaer. It is the old Ritz Cinema that has now become the Truth Bible Church. This cinema opened in 1928 and closed in 1982. In 2006 it was revived as a theater and last until last fall. I love finding the old theaters in towns. They are another of the places where people gather. Here this one has that history, and is also a church now. I normally save my church posts for Sundays, but this week two of them have popped up already in the mornings. This was just too cool of a venue not to talk about some of the history behind it.

A Sort Of Morning Theme

This whole week will be written ahead of time. I have my photos from my trip to Western in the afternoons. Those posts were written last week. It was another softball trip theme. For the mornings this week I will focus on the photos that I made on my trip to Rensselaer. As I said above I made a ton of photos on the trip so the theme posts from this drive will just keep coming.
