The Tastee Treat In Boswell, Indiana

I have passed this ice cream shop a few times over the years, but it had always been busy when I did. On this day I had it all to myself to make a few photos of it. I would have normally tried something straight on or just a bit off of that, but the old truck in the background made me want to use this angle. The light was not perfect on this day, but I still like this photo.

The Small Town Ice Cream Stands

Some of the fun of visiting the small towns is finding these kinds of things. The small town ice cream stand is a place for the community to gather. These days I like finding the places where everyone can gather in town. You don’t need to believe certain things to go. You just need to want some ice cream. I like seeing places where we can still all gather together.
