An Old Car In Kirklin, Indiana

This is a photo that I really like. It is a small scene from a small town. While coming home from a hockey game a few weeks ago I made this photo while driving through Kirklin, Indiana. I liked the old building with the equally old car in front of it. I am not sure but maybe this was an older cop car? I am not sure, but the photo was a fun one to make. I started off really wide adding a lot to the photo, and then ended up with this simple composition just focusing on part of the building and the car.

Finding The Small Scenes

This really has been a joy lately. Finding those small scenes that I would have passed by in the past. I still like to make a grand landscape photo, but these little scenes give me the same joy as making a photo of a big play during a game. Road trips are way more fun stopping in towns along the way to make these photos.
