Grab A Cold Drink

This is one of those photos that I would never have made a few years ago. Today though I get very excited when I see a scene like this. I turned my car around to go back and make this photo before leaving New Richmond. I just liked the simple way that everything was here. It was nice and clean, and a great photo to leave town on. I don’t know the story behind this drink machine, but I am glad that it is there.

Fun In New Richmond

New Richmond is a cool town to me. For one is just has that midwest small town look to it. I love to photograph those little towns. The biggest factor though is that in 1985 Hollywood came to Indiana to make a movie called Hoosiers. This little town of New Richmond became the fictional town of Hickory for a little while. This week the blog will take a look at a few of the sites that I have found from the movie in the area. It is a fun new series that I hope can get a little bigger as we approach the 40th anniversary of the movie coming out.
