Stan The Man

This was a fun time in St. Louis. I was in town for the MVC basketball tournament and had some free time. For the years when I was at the tournament I would make time to tour this ballpark and see the museum. They really do a good job of honoring their history. This huge statue of Stan the Man is a great way to do that. As a kid my father would always tell me about this guy who was just as good off the field as he was on it. He was a hero for many Polish ballplayers like my father. It was cool to see this larger than life statue of him.

Baseball Week

This week is sort of a celebration. I will photograph my first baseball game this week hopefully. By the time this post goes live hopefully I will be planning for that game. I like the idea of making a big deal out of this week. It has been far too long for me seeing any kind of baseball.
