The Minnie Minoso Statue

Minnie Minoso played a couple of games during my lifetime, but I spent a lifetime hearing about him. He was my fathers favorite player. I would hear about the Go-Go Sox and how Minnie led the way during that time period. He was a tough ballplayer that stood on the plate and would take a hit by pitch as any kind of way to get on base. I thought that this photo was a fitting tribute this week.

Baseball Week

This week is sort of a celebration. I will photograph my first baseball game this week hopefully. By the time this post goes live hopefully I will be planning for that game. I like the idea of making a big deal out of this week. It has been far too long for me seeing any kind of baseball.
