More At Leon’s

This is the kind of building that makes it very hard on a photographer. The building has a great look as a color photo. It also lends itself to a great black and white photo. A couple of weeks ago you saw the color version of this photo, and of course being a month of black and white images I had to show the black and white version of this image as well. I really like the way that the sign looks in black and white. The different tones of the paint really seem to show up well. This is a building that I would like to photograph more often. Of course with a camera store around the corner that could be an expensive proposition.

Wrapping Up A Month Of Black And White

This month I have made all of my afternoon posts black and white images. For the most part this is the time of year when most things look very monochromatic anyway so I really have leaned into that the last couple of years. This is a fun experiment that gets me looking at things differently. Now with just a couple of days left in the month I have to start thinking about some more themes to work on.
