West Lafayette City Hall Looking Pretty Good

I made this photo last October with my infrared camera. I hate to say this, but it sat on the camera until yesterday when I broke the camera out to make some more infrared photos. I had only made a couple of photos so I wasn’t too worried about editing them right then. I remember liking this photo, but I didn’t think that it would be this long until I saw it again. These were perfect conditions for infrared photography on this day. I really like how this turned out.

Almost Done With Black And White February

This month is almost over, and that means that so it black and white February. Photos like this one are a great way to wind up the month. The point of making black and white photos is to train yourself to see the world a little different. When you have the infrared camera you really have to look at things differently. You have to think about how the light is reflecting. When you can think that way you can make some successful infrared photos. This is a fun tool that I need to get out more.
