Snow At The Old Garage

When I was in battleground making snokeh photos a while back I made a couple of laps around this old garage. I knew that there was a photo somewhere. I wanted to show the extent of the snow, and the road leading away from the scene. With all of the white and the lack of color in the scene making a black and white image was the clear choice. I love the way that the sky turns to white like nearly everything else in the scene. This almost looks like a charcoal drawing.

A Month Of Black And White

Last year I seized on the fact that February typically does not have a lot of color to have a month full of black and white photos. This year I am doing the same, but with a little more planning. I have made the photos for this month over a long stretch of time instead of more of a real time thing like last year. My weekly theme will become a monthly one for twenty eight days.
