Snow On The Door Prairie Barn

On may way out of LaPorte a few weeks back I made this photo of the Door Prairie barn. This might be the barn that I have photographed the most over the years. Early on in my photography career I was still living in LaPorte, and I made photos of this barn quite often. It is the barn that made me love making photos of barns. I need to spend more time here one of these times I am back in town to make something really cool.

The Old Film Look

I had an idea to edit this photo with an older film look in mind.  I really like how it turned out. It is up there with some of my favorite photos of this barn. It is a little cool, but that is winter. I don’t think that this would have worked any other time of the year.
