Another Day Along The Wabash
Last week I spent some more time on the Wabash River with the eagles. My best encounter of the day was with this mute swan. I haven’t photographed a mute swan in quite a while. We used to have a few at the Celery Bog, but the people in charge of the bog got rid of them. They were always fun to photograph, and I miss being able to do so. It was cool to get another chance here to make photos of one.
Keeping Expectations Low
When I go to the river I obviously have grand ideas of eagles making big catches in the river in mind. I only saw one catch, and it was pretty far away. For most of this day the eagles were enjoying the fish that were frozen in the ice. I went down to the river with eagles in mind, but I had a great encounter with a mute swan at the end of the day.

Very nice
