Battleground Snokeh

I made this photo while back while making snokeh photos in Battleground. The way the scene was I knew that it would be a black and white photo. Part of the fun of black and white photography is knowing when the photo will pay off in black and white. Here the colors were not adding to the scene, and I knew that simplifying things would help the photo out.

A Month Of Black And White

Last year I seized on the fact that February typically does not have a lot of color to have a month full of black and white photos. This year I am doing the same, but with a little more planning. I have made the photos for this month over a long stretch of time instead of more of a real time thing like last year. My weekly theme will become a monthly one for twenty eight days.
