The Long Center In Black And White

I love this old marquee for the Long Center. Photographing it this way has a really old school look to that makes me think that it would have looked like this when it was the Mars Theatre. I really liked this scene in color. The deep blue sky looked very good, but here in black and white I thought that this photo had a more timeless look to it.

A Month Of Black And White

Last year I seized on the fact that February typically does not have a lot of color to have a month full of black and white photos. This year I am doing the same, but with a little more planning. I have made the photos for this month over a long stretch of time instead of more of a real time thing like last year. My weekly theme will become a monthly one for twenty eight days.
