A Beautiful Morning On Main Street

Last year I was up on Main Street in Lafayette one morning as the sun was coming up. I loved the way that the first light of the day was streaming down Main Street so I did what any smart person would do and stood in the road to make some photos. I knew that people heading east would not be able to see well, but it was worth the photo. I really like how this one turned out.

Thirteen Years Ago Today

Thirteen years ago today I met my wife at the door of the Lafayette Brewing Company. We were walking into the place from different ends of the street and somehow luck let us meet at the door. Of course everything changed that day, and this brewery has always held a special place for me ever since then. It was only my second time ever there, but we have gone back many times over the years.
