John Purdue In The Window Light

The John Purdue Statue At The Haan Museum

There are so many things to see and do at the Haan Museum. During their holiday celebration there are even more things to check out. I always try and find a new way to photograph this John Purdue statue each year. This past year while visiting I used the window light to make a photo of it thinking about a black and white photo. I like how this turned out.

A Month Of Black And White

Last year I seized on the fact that February typically does not have a lot of color to have a month full of black and white photos. This year I am doing the same, but with a little more planning. I have made the photos for this month over a long stretch of time instead of more of a real time thing like last year. My weekly theme will become a monthly one for twenty eight days.

  1. How interesting to photgraph this statue so many times – and capture it in different ways
also, your Feb theme of black and white is a good idea to do again
