My First Mail Pouch Barn

I have seen many photos of Mail Pouch barns, but up until yesterday I had never made a photo of one. Last weekend I saw a downtown business in North Judson with the Mail Pouch signage on it so I was getting closer. I spotted this when I was still fairly far down the road from it. The layout of the barn is such that it gives you a good chance to get a few angles of it safely without being out on the road. I took advantage of that and had a mini photo session with the barn. This ws my favorite photo from that session.

A Long Time Coming

Yesterday I finally made the trip back to Flora, Indiana. Back when I would go to Kokomo Jackrabbit games the main highway to get there was closed. The quickest way was to go through Flora. I was always in a hurry to get to the ballpark so I never stopped to make any photos. Finally ten years later I made the short trip to see what I could find. It was a fun little road trip on a day without much else going on. I made some photos that I really liked, and I am sure they will start making their way onto the blog soon.
