A Quick Stop

On my way out of town heading up to LaPorte on Sunday I wanted to make good time. Of course I stopped in the first town I came to for a photo. I have visited this place many times in the past, but not so recently. Whenever I drive by I have wanted to make a photo, but cars and people are always in the way. Here I had a chance to make the photo without anything in the way. I wasn’t stopped for long, but long enough to finally make this photo.

Having The Vision

With this photo I knew exactly how I would edit it as I made it. Back when this blog started I would just make photos and they would be what they would be. Over time though I have started to have the edit in mind when I make the photo. For this one I wanted a film look to soften that sky and give it a greenish tint. When I finally got around to editing the photo most of the work was already done in my head. I love it when the photo comes out they way that I had in mind when I made it.
