Driving By The Three Sisters At The Perfect Time
On Sunday I was not in LaPorte very long. On my way out of town though the sun was setting so I decided to drive around and make some photos. One of the spots that I wanted to visit was the three sisters. These are three trees on Clear Lake that were some of the first photography subjects of mine many years ago. I love this scene, and it is interesting how the background changes almost every time that I make the photo. The old hospital where I was born used to figure prominently in the background. It has now been torn down living a little hole in the LaPorte skyline.
LaPorte Week
My theme for the last week of the month is simple. I will be posting photos from my hometown of LaPorte, Indiana. My trips back there lately have involved laying someone to rest. I need to get back there more often so that I can enjoy my time there. My hometown has changed a lot since I left so it will be fun to see what I can find that hasn’t changed. This week I will highlight some things that I have found over the last few months.
