The Corner Station

The Old Corner Gas Station

While driving through North Judson this past weekend I saw this old gas station. It reminded me of all of the old stations that we would have visited back in the day. The owner of the station even had his name prominently displayed above the door to show how proud he was of his place. Back in the day it wasn’t chains that would sell you gas and work on your car. It was an owner who would do his best to keep your business. This was a fun find, and brought back some great memories.

A Familiar Road

Back in the day when I would come down to Purdue to watch games I would always take highway 39. I would go through North Judson, but rarely go into town. It was fun to actually go into town this weekend to check things out. Finding a little gem like this one made the extra effort on the trip worthwhile.
