A Quick Photo

I know that I talk about making a quick photo on here a lot, but this really was a quick photo. There was a car about to drive through the frame and ruin it, and I wanted a moment before any cars pulled in front of the building. I lucked out here and made my photo quickly, but with an idea in mind. I don’t know why this scene spoke to me, but it did. I liked the sign and the older look of it and the building that it was on. I liked the street and the remnants of the recent snowfall.

Big Red Liquors

Once you get past a certain point in Indiana the Big Red Liquor stores seem to be everywhere. Seeing this building brought back some memories from college, and that might be a small reason why it spoke to me to make this photo. There also was just something about the building. I knew what the inside would smell like before I walked into it. It reminded me a lot of many buildings that I have been in before.
