Checking Out The Old Penguin Point

When I lived in northern Indiana I would see commercials for Penguin Point all the time. I never made it to one of the restaurants, but the song was stuck in my head when I saw this old Penguin Point in Warsaw, Indiana. The chain is now closed, but this was kind of an interesting image to me. You have a sign for a fish fry on the building, but the broken sign saying closed. I don’t know that this will win any awards, but it was a fun memory for me.

Finding The Little Things In Town

Part of the fun of my photography last year was finding the little things while out and about. This building would not have been a subject for me in the past, but I am glad that I saw it last summer while in Warsaw. The only problem with the photo is that the Penguin Point song is going through my head again. How do you get it out?
