The Dairy Barn In Danville, Illinois

I really like this photo for the moment that it captures at a small town ice cream stand. This reminds me of a photo that I would see from someone like Joel Meyerowitz not so much me. On the scene I really wanted to have a photo with no people in it. This was a busy place though so that was not possible. I had thought about long exposures, but I didn’t have a tripod. I am glad that I made this photo. It is one of my favorites from that trip.

Finding A Little Gem On The Road

This was a fun little find while on a softball road trip earlier this year. We had checked out a small town next to Danville, and I had already looked up this little ice cream stand so I knew that it was kind of cool. When we are on the road I always try and find something neat to stop at that we can’t find here. On the road I of course make my Pizza King photos, but these are pretty cool too.
