Ruby In The Snow

Last week with the snow coming down I went out to the Celery Bog to see if Ruby the resident screech owl was in her hole. She was out and she was covered in snow. To us this looks cold, but she probably didn’t even feel it. It does make for nice photos though, and a little different look for Ruby. I photographed her a couple of times during my walk around the bog, and she never even seemed to wake up.

Snow Week

This week my afternoon theme will be snow. Every photo will have snow as a component of it. We had a couple of good snow days recently so this kind of made sense. I went out trying to make some photos that were a little different with this week in mind.
