The Eagles Are Back In Force On The Wabash

For the past few days while going across the Wabash I have seen a couple of eagles perched on the treetops. Today I went down with my camera to see what I could find. I ended up finding around 20 eagles just hanging out and flying all over. It was impossible to count them all accurately because of the way that some of them were flying overhead. That is a good problem to have though. The more eagles that there are the more chances of catching some flying. When one gets into the air others will follow just in case the other eagle is onto some easy food. I wasn’t able to hang out down there very long, but in my short time I had some fun relearning how to photograph these birds as they fly. In the next month or so I hope that I have a few more chances to photograph these eagles.

The title of this post comes from finally seeing the movie Wicked. In the past I would have a theme week with song titles from a show that we had seen with no explanation. Here I thought that I would explain what I was doing. I don’t know that I had enough ideas for a theme week, but these eagles were doing an amazing job defying gravity.
