A Snowy Walk Around Purdue

Last night I was out walking around campus as the snow was falling. Campus is always beautiful, but during a nice snow it looks even better. I was of course having some fun making snokeh photos while out on my walk. This time of the year you pretty much have campus all to yourself. When it is wet and snowy out there are even less people out and about. It is a fun way to just get out, clear your mind, and make photos. I hope that these are not the last snow photos from campus this year.

Snokeh Fun

I don’t get many chances to make snokeh photos so I try and take advantage of every chance that I get. Last night at times the snow was perfect to make this photos. When the snow would let up a little I would zoom in with my lens and cheat a little to keep making photos. I really love this kind of photography. Years ago I wrote a little post showing some tips to make these types of photos. You can read that post here. Snokeh is a fun way to get out there with your speed light and get some practice in.
