The Old Rubia Flower Market

I loved this old gas station converted to a flower market. I really struggled for a while to come up with ways to capture it. No matter what I did I didn’t like how the photos looked. Here I used my film camera to just focus on the customer area of the old gas station. I like the way that it turned out.

Should Old Acquaintances…

This week I am going to look at the buildings in the Wabash Levee area that are being torn down to make room for another high rise. I had originally had this idea for a couple of months ago, but my idea of change really changed that week. This week being the change into a new year made me think that it was a good week to bring this idea back. All this week we are going to look at buildings that we have lost this year.
