The 2024 Christmas Tree

It has become a tradition to post my Christmas tree every year on Christmas. This year is no different. Each year the tree gets a little heavier with new ornaments, but the scene kind of stays the same. This year we have a couple of new decorations in the scene as well. An Oldie But A Goodie

Every year I also put a Christmas movie on the TV. I try and find something that we have recently found, or something that has some meaning. This year I picked Meet Me In St. Louis. It is about more than Christmas, but you get to see Judy Garland sing ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ in it so I think that it counts. It was one of my father’s favorite movies so I thought that it made sense to use it this year. He may not be around to share the holiday with us, but we are thinking about him. The song is sung in the movie to cheer up the younger sibling who is distraught at the time. Everything kind of points to this being the movie and song to post this year. We are muddling through somehow, but still having a Merry Christmas.
