An Early Christmas Present

Yesterday I was out looking for owls when I decided to check on this sign in Chalmers. Last year I made a photo of it in bad conditions, and I knew that I could do better. This year as I pulled into town the sun came out from behind the clouds and put a little light on the town. I loved the way the light hit the buildings, and the shadows that it made. I am glad that I went back to remake this photo.

It’s Christmas All Over

This is the name of a Tom Petty Christmas song, but right now it is also true. It is Christmas time, and in a couple of days the big day will be here. I love seeing all of the decorations up for the season. I still have a few days to get out and see all of the decorations that I have missed so far.
