A Different View Of The Lafayette Christmas Parade

In past years we were in the Lafayette Christmas parade, but I was able to watch and photograph a lot of it as it went by before it was our turn to walk. This year we were lined up much differently. I was not able to see much of it. I ran into a few people and floats on the way to Main Street, but it always seemed like they were in bad light. This is a fun parade, and it is fun to be in it. My photographs can wait for another day when someone is not in the parade.

A Beautiful Sunset

On our way to the float we had a beautiful sunset in front of us. Of course the first thing that I saw when I turned into the sunset was the Oscar Meijer Wienermoblile. It is not really a Christmas thing, but it was a fun subject with the light in the sky. Below are a couple of bonus photos from our walk to the float.
