A Panoramic Look At The Purdue Union Christmas Tree

Last year I had my Canon point and shoot film camera at the union hoping to make a photo of the Christmas tree. I could not get back far enough to make the photo that I had in mind so I decided to try something crazy. I made two photos with the thought of maybe stitching them together in post. That is kind of tricky to do with a point and shoot because the exposures could be totally different. Here it seemed to work well enough though to make a photo.

Making Film Photos At Christmas

Looking back at my photos from last Christmas I think that I made a bunch of my favorite photos with film cameras. I still like being able to see my photos right away and the ability to post them quickly so my digital photos are not going anywhere. I might though start making a few more film photos. With the turnaround time for development they may not get posted this year, but they will be a nice start to the season next year.
