A Blue Hour Christmas At The Union

Blue Hour At The Union

I made this photo last year during blue hour at the Union. I love Christmas lights during blue hour. Here the blue sky and the lights look great together. I also like the student silhouetted walking through the frame. I need to take advantage of more blue hours during the season this year. This is probably my favorite time of the year to make photos. Everything looks great, and for the most part everyone is cheery. Tonight I will be at the Lafayette Christmas parade so I am sure that I will have some photos from that early next week. This really starts the best time of the year.

Remembering Pearl Harbor

The union is a good subject for today considering it is Pearl Harbor day. The union was built with those lost in World War I in mind, but the purpose has always been to honor those lost in war. It is a great place for students to gather, but it is also a great place to reflect. This year it is celebrating 100 years of being open. It is pretty cool to think of all of the people who have walked through these halls over the years.
