The Monon Library Dressed Up For Christmas

Last year I made this photo in Monon, Indiana while out driving shortly after Christmas. At the time I thought that this was a cool looking library. There were all of these cool looking libraries around and maybe I should photograph them. They tended to be in small towns for some reason. Of course that thought led me to find out about the Carnegie Libraries and how cool they were. It was a late Christmas present to me.

Even during my Christmas posts I can’t help but find a Carnegie Library to post during this time. This past year I have had a blast finding these little gems and making photos of them. The story behind them is an interesting one to me so it has been a fun project finding them and photographing them.
