The Francesville Library

The Francesville Public Libary

This is another Carnegie Library located in Francesville, Indiana. For years I would just drive through this old town. Coming home from LaPorte one day though I finally stopped and went into the town. There were some very cool older buildings to see, but this Carnegie Library was what I was after. This library opened in 1915 so it is on the newer end of the Carnegie Libraries that I have listed. It is still nearly 100 years old though. It still looks great though, and reminded me a little of the library in LaPorte that I had just photographed.

The Second To Last Theme

This week I am looking at a few last libraries for the year. They are all Carnegie Libraries which I have kind of started collecting in a way. I have the first four days of this week for a theme, and then this blog will turn into a celebration of Christmas until Christmas Day. I really like making Christmas photos so it makes sense to make them for almost a month when everything looks great. I love the lights and colors of the season.
