The LaPorte Library

This is the only one of these Carnegie Libraries that I have been inside of. It is in my hometown of LaPorte, Indiana. When I started this project I just kind of stumbled into the fact that a lot of the libraries that I thought looked great had a common thread. Something about them drew my eye. Of course that started to make more sense when I realized that my old hometown had one in it. This is the library I grew up going to so it makes sense that I look for them in every town that I visit.

The Second To Last Theme

This week I am looking at a few last libraries for the year. They are all Carnegie Libraries which I have kind of started collecting in a way. I have the first four days of this week for a theme, and then this blog will turn into a celebration of Christmas until Christmas Day. I really like making Christmas photos so it makes sense to make them for almost a month when everything looks great. I love the lights and colors of the season.
