The Old Louie’s Cafe On Lincolnway

While out walking around LaPorte last week I stumbled onto the old frontage for Louie’s Cafe. At the time I was surprised that they were still open. As I walked around to the front of the building I realized that the restaurant has a new name, and this side portion of it just had old signage up. We had a lot of great memories in here.

A Tough Day

I am always honest on this blog. It is basically a diary for me. Today is the day of my fathers funeral. I am writing this a few days ahead of time because to be honest I don’t think that I could do much creative stuff as this week goes on. It is kind of nice to have a photo like the one above of a place that I loved to be with dad today.
