Saying Goodbye To Heavilon Hall

Watching Heavilon Hall Come Down

A few weeks ago I spent about an hour watching the old Heav Hall come down on the campus of Purdue. Both my wife and I had classes here so it was kind of sad to see it come down. Earlier this summer I made a few final photos of the building knowing what its fate would soon be. On this occasion though I tried to find ways to show the people watching the demo rather than photographing the demo itself. I had thoughts of coming back another day to photograph more of this, but I try to stick to happier subjects for my photography.

Change Week

This is the last post for this week of change that I came up with. This is actually the post that got me thinking about the different ways that things are changing other than the leaves this time of the year. Of course before I could put the week of posts together we lost my father which put a different spin on the week entirely for me. By the time this post goes live we will have had his last mass today. Change is all around. Some of it is good, and some of it is not. It happens whether we like it or not though. Below are a few bonus photos that I made on this day of old Heav Hall coming down.
