Sunrise At The Tire Shop
This is another photo that I made while trying to find a subject during the sunrise the other morning. I was out running errands when the sky started to light up. Without a lot of time to find a subject I took what was right in front of me. This tire shop is one that I used to live behind, and I have tried to come up with a good photo of for years. I really like how this photo turned out. I have always wanted an empty parking lot in front, but I don’t think that you will ever see that. Here the conditions came together to make a photo that I liked.
A Few Memories
When I first started this photography journey in 2011 I made my first long exposure images in front of this tire shop. I used my tripod and made photos of the car lights streaking by. I made my first panning photos out here as well. I would pan with the cars driving by to get that technique down. I had kind of forgot about those days until I started editing this photo. It is always fun to go back and revisit a place where you learned a lot about something. Who knew that it would be a tire shop?
