The Sun Sets Over Purdue

A while back while waiting for the comet to appear over Purdue I was up on a very familiar parking garage to me watching the moon rise, and then the sun set. I have made photos like this before, but when it is right in front of you it has to be made again. No two sunsets are the same anyway so why not make the photo? I thought that I had made the photo, and then the lights of the bell tower came on and I made the photo that you see above. It was a fun photo to make while waiting on the comet to finally show itself.

The Safety Photo

When I have an idea like the comet photo that may or may not work I always like to have a safety photo early on that I can fall back on. When you are posting a couple of photos a day you don’t want to spend a couple of hours somewhere with nothing to show for it. I had already made a couple of photos that I liked before making this one, but it was one that I wanted to share right away.
