Behind Perry Street In Attica, Indiana

While in Attica, Indiana this past summer I made this photo while driving over to the Devon Theater. When I first saw the backs of all of these older buildings I knew that something was there, but I wasn’t quite sure what. The sky was not the best for this photo at this time. It was then that I thought about it being a black and white image. The bright sun would wash out the pavement and the sky just leaving the buildings in the frame. It was a fun idea and something a little different for me on my outings.

Attica Has It All

This was a fun town to photograph. They have a Pizza King, a Carnegie Library, a historic theater, and some great art. It really was a fun little stop on my way home from a road trip. It is not that far away. I need to make it the reason for a trip one of these days.
