Seeing Mater In Real Life

Lately it seems like all of my road stories start with me being on the way to or coming home from a softball tournament. This past summer while on the way home from the tournament in Columbia City I made this photo of this old truck dressed up like Mater from the Cars franchise. This whole gas station had a good look to it, but this little section was just too good not to make a photo of it.

Trying It Out On The Road

Over the last year or so I have shifted my photography philosophy. I have started to find the little things of my town that I think are cool. It was neat to be out on the road again with a little different philosophy. There were so many photos in the past that would have looked great, but I was always looking for the grand photo. Photo like this though show the details of the small town.
