The Old Purdue Pete On Homecoming Weekend
One of the last weeks of summer break we were up on campus to grab some lunch at the food trucks when we saw people setting up for some kind of a party later that night. This older version of Purdue Pete was set up on the memorial lawn so we had some fun making photos of it. We were just grabbing lunch so I only had my phone and an old point and shoot film camera to make photos with. I really like how this turned out though with the old film camera.
Photographing With Expired Film
This old camera was loaded with expired Kodak Gold 200. I was not sure about when it expired or even how old it is. I was kind of operating on the fact that it was not terribly old based on the way the roll looked so I overexposed by a stop. With this camera I do that anyway most of the time so it made sense to try it. Not all of the photos from that roll turned out, but here I liked the vintage look that the expired roll gave me.
