The Union Turns 100

The other night we had dinner at the Purdue Memorial Union and after dinner I wanted to go around to the front to see the new signage on the building. As I came around the corner I saw the sun peeking out from in between the clouds at the perfect time. It allowed me to make this different photo of the Union. When a building is 100 and you have photographed it as much as I have the ‘new’ photos are getting harder to come by. I liked making something different for me.

Homecoming Weekend

This is homecoming on campus. Homecoming is a little different now that I live here all of the time. When I lived in Iowa homecoming meant a lot more to me. It was a chance to get out and see what has changed on campus. Now I walk campus all of the time, and I am pretty up on things. This weekend I am making photos for the opponent coming in so even gameday will be different. My normal homecoming theme for my photos will be much different as I will be thinking about the game from the Nebraska point of view. I will still be fun to see some familiar faces this weekend.
