When Worlds Collide

A while back I made this photo while sending some film off to be developed. I was at the post office late, and the sun was perfectly setting behind it. If you follow this blog then you know that I love making photos of murals and post office buildings. To have a mural on a post office is a pretty cool thing. This mural was made by Craig Martin. Craig is currently the director of the play “Clue” at the Civic Theatre Of Greater Lafayette. There is still time to get tickets to see the play. In a way it is three things that I have been doing a lot lately all in one photo. I love it when things work out like that.

What Film Can Bring You

Making film photos has been a joy, and it has given me some things that I did not expect. I have learned some patience when it comes to photography. It has also given me things like the photo above. I would never have been in this spot if I was not sending my film to be developed.  When this batch of film comes in I am sure that I will have something to say about it. I have a special roll in there that will be fun to see how it comes out.
