A Quick Photo

Last night we were meeting my wife for dinner downtown, and the sun was starting to set. As I was walking by the courthouse I had this idea for a photo. The light coming through the tree was too much fun not to make a photo of it. I really like these types of photos. A little blue and gold to make the frame look nice.

A Change Of Plans

I was originally heading to soccer last night, but errands lasted a little too long to get there. On some level these types of photos are easier to make than a full game gallery. Here I spent a couple of minutes making the photo, and a couple of minutes editing the photo. Compare that with the hours spent for a sports gallery. This sports year I plan on cutting back a lot of the fun sports work for that reason. I still love making sports photos, but last year I was pretty burnt out of the editing process at the end of the year. This year I hope to slow the pace a little to avoid the burnout.
