The End Of A Mural Run
If you follow me on social media then you have seen that for the last week and a half I have been in the world of murals. I really liked the idea of getting out there and covering something out of my comfort zone. I knew nothing of this process when I started. Now I have seen five very talented artists paint murals from start to finish. I have gotten to see all of the things that go into making one of these murals. It was fascinating for me to see. I still know very little of this world, but now I have a thirst to learn more. I am already starting to look forward to the Wabash Walls festival next year.
A Big Flex
This is a mural from 2014 that I am guessing was part of the Small Spaces series in Lafayette. It is one of my favorite murals because it is simple and it makes me feel something. It was painted by an artist named Flex who is from Northern Indiana. These past couple of weeks has me looking at the art all around Lafayette a little differently now.
