The Standard Oil Station Downtown

For years I have wanted to take more photos of this old filling station in downtown Lafayette. It is so close that it can always be done later. Last week I was here a little more so those chances finally came. I really liked this idea of a photo. The sun and the old bricks of the station.

A Little Extra Time

Last week I spent some time around the library and this building watching a mural go up on it. That extra time let me check this building out far more than I ever have before. I am sure after being back at the library this week more images of this old station will appear on the blog.
