Another View Of The Oxford Water Tower

A couple of weeks ago I posted another view of this water tower. I made these photos about a year apart, but both in some great light that made the water tower stand out. When I made this photo in 2023 I was thinking about a week of posts like what I am doing this week, but it just never happened. I love the color of this water tower, and the nod to Dan Patch on it. When I first saw this water tower I spent the rest of my drive trying to figure out who Dan Patch was. When I made it to my stop I looked it up. These are the little fun things on the road that you can find.

Water Tower Week

One thing that is slowly fading away is the classic look of the small town water tower. They have always had a great look to them, but slowly they are being replaced by water towers that are not so photogenic. This week I thought that it would be fun to take a look at some of those water towers.
