A Little Spark Of Madness
I made this preset because of the passing of Robin Williams. I thought that is would be fitting to use it on a photo that I made on Sunday. This year was the ten year anniversary of his death. Usually I don’t get emotional about people that I have never met, but I grew up with Robin. It started with a character named Mork. Then of course Popeye. Then Adrian came around to wish me good morning. As a young kid I taped the Evening At The Met special, and at one point in my life I could recite it word for word. Probably not the best thing for a ten year old to be doing, but to me that was the pinnacle of stand up. It is hard to believe that Robin has been gone that long. His work remains though to remind us of how crazy he is, and how fleeting that spark can be.
About The Actual Photo
Usually I start off with the photo. This was a simple photo that I made after having brunch downtown on Sunday. I was heading up to campus to photograph volleyball when I saw this simple scene. This year I have been trying to photograph the courthouse from different angles. This is one that I had not photographed before.
