Getting The Infrared Camera Out

In the summer the infrared camera comes out much more than any other time of the year. In the summer you have far more hours of bad light for most photos. This is the strong suit of the infrared camera though so it makes sense to dust it off every summer. I really like the way that it turns the sky black and changes the look of the photo. It is a fun way to look at everything differently.

The Old Sparkletone Cleaners Sign

I love this old sign for Sparkletone Cleaners. I never photographed the bigger one out front, but this older sign at the back of the store is too good not to make photos of. It is a throwback to how businesses used to advertise their location. Soon the store will be gone as part of the new project down near the Levee so I wanted to make a few last photos of it.
