Spending Some Time At Flourish Studio

Last week my little one spent four days at Flourish Studio in downtown Lafayette working on a fun project. Everyday we would head down to Flourish with excitement in the air. As I would leave I would see this scene and think about a photo. On the final day the light was diffused enough to give it a try. I really like these storefronts on Main Street, and a little art in the window is a great way dress up the old windows.

The Descendants

The four days of projects were to make props for the Civic Theatre production of The Descendants. It is pretty cool to be part of the back end of a play. This coming weekend there are three showings at the Tippecanoe Amphitheater if you want to see it. You can buy tickets for it here.
